Review by E Mason

Overall

I decided to be one of the few guys -if not the only one- talking about this thinline guitar in the net... Seems nobody noticed it, and i think being just such a beautiful (vintage style meets modern price & fine industrial construction) it should have been noticed by a lot of "mature" players like myself... Come on! for the price, this is the lightest nice sounding old fashion thinline humbucker axe you could get... the color rocks... soundwise it also rocks (given the pickups)... and if by chance you install a pair of quality pickups like i just did (pearly gates)the guitar takes off into a new horizon of blues, rock, session, and even jazz possibilities... i insist, the price you pay makes you realize this is a whole new commercial trend towards "good tone" and playability... a very, very different trend considering what happen in the last 25 years, when you payed the same or more for badly made "solid body" floyd rose "patented" axes made by this and other manufacturers... So, talking about commercial guitars at low price stratus, kudos to this thinline cheap incredibly cool looking 50s to blue FTM60 ibanez almost ignored baby!... It deserves 5 stars!

Sound

I could have bought it w/out pickups for the price... but, again, these stock p/ups are much better than what you used to get from the far east in cheap guitars... The stock sound here is ok... it has some feedback trouble -thinline- ... nevertheless you get more than what you could expect for the price... worth upgradin the p/u...

Look

It just stole my heart when i saw her, the color she was dressing in and her price tag... Thatīs pretty subjective but, hey! I love this retro look!...

Feel

Again, great playability and great feel in this comfy neck for the price... Lets you play whatever you wanna play whitout a floyd rose... THE WHOLE UNIT IS VERY LIGHT...

Reliability

can't give it a 5 at this, but who cares being so obviously well made for such an economic piece...

Value

ridiculously low!
