Review by GuitarMike

Overall

I was looking for a semi-hollow body guitar & had my heart set on an ES-335. I must have played 50 guitars before I found this one. It was actually priced lower than what I was willing to pay, but the sound and feel had me sold.I have the Hi-Lo Tron pickups (G6119HT not the G6119FT described above). The product description should also list the HT pickups. I couldn't be happier with my guitar. I only have one problem now, I don't know if my next guitar is going to be a White Falcon, Black Falcon, or a 6122 Country Gentleman. I want'em all!!

Sound

The sounds that will come out of this guitar amazes me. I've had it for a year and I'm still finding new sounds. "Nothing sounds like a Gretsch." Sounds great through every amp I've used except my Peavey E-coustic (it was too muddy and didn't do the pickups justice).

Look

Love the look - Classic Beauty.

Feel

Feel was one of the first things that sold me on this guitar.

Reliability

I've only had it a year but so far so good. I haven't had any issues with my Gretsch.

Value

In my book this guitar has great bang for the buck.
