Review by Nate Lovitt

Overall

This is an awsome guitar. Even for the price range, I would rather have this than any Les Paul. The looks kill, the tone is vicious, and the reliability is great. Forget the warlock and the beast, this is the best guitar BC Rich makes. With Broad Dynamics Sonically Matched, or BDSM pickups, the plat pro zombie cuts through the noise while, still having incredibly rich, deep sound, perfect for metal. The floyd Rose locking tremelo allows you to use that whammy bar for some weird tones, and still never go out of tune. Whatever you need, this guitar has it.

Sound

Wicked, deep sound are hallmarks of the Bc Rich brand, but this monster takes it further with it's dual BDSM pickups and ultra low heel. Harmonics are bright and warm, and distortion effects have the perfect crunch. With virtually no heel( the heel starts in the middle of the twentifourth fret) no note is hard to get to. Even below the 20th fret there is no "buzz" that other guitars experience. No words do the sound justice.

Feel

Agathis body makes this guitar lightweight and easy to lug. The strap knobs are located on the back of the guitar, hiding them and creating a twist in the strap that makes the guitar sit on your shoulder perfectly with no discomfort. I forget it's there. The action is high and the neck is very fast.

Reliability

I've been playing mine since it came out. I've played in hundreds of gigs(I'm not talking slow love song stuff, Im talking shredding untill you can't hear anymore)and the guitar. And the guitar has never so much as even gone out of tune during a live performance, let alone fall into peices like other guitars I've played with.(thats embarrassing)I carried a backup guitar the first three times i played live, and after that I've never since. The things a tank.

Value

Incredible value. If this guitar said Les Paul on it, it would cost at least a thousand bucks. And its better than anything else in my opinion. I wish my rent had value like this.
