Apocalypse Special Bass Guitar
User Reviews Review by Terrance Durgin Overall The Apocalypse overall is a killing machine....decent sound...a little off balance though I think in part to the strap locations but all in all not a bad piece...I did have to replace the baby pots though... Sound This is strictly a metal bass....you will not find any warm tones with this one (I've tried) but if your looking for a bass with alot of punch...then this is it...it will scare the paint off your house Look The overall look sets it aside from the others... Feel It does have a balance problem and the shape of the body does make sitting down a pain Reliability other than the pots being replaced...it is a very well built instrument...it stays tuned just great...just plug-n-play Value Well I cant complain..I came across mine at a local pawn shop and only paid 100.00 but as for the new price... I dont think its too bad... Other Comments I did some research on the Apocalypse Special after finding the signature on the back...I found out that Paul Stanley collaberated with Silvertone to create an affordable guitar with awesome sound.. packed it with a split and a single... |
