Review by Ed

Overall

I must start out by saying that im very fond of ibanez eurgodyne, and soundgear model basses, but that being said, this bass is my 4th ibanez, and this is hands down the best one yet. it's warmth, and brightness, of the active electonics, and the always comfortable fast, and forgiving kneck, really make this bass what it is, and the very different and beautiful finish just makes this a cool bass to play on stage.

Feel

i have short fingers, and this neck is really forgiving, it makes even my fingers fast.

Value

awesome value. it sounds like a $800.00 bass.

Other Comments

I play classic rock, and newer rock, metal, and southern rock and blues. and it really sounds awesome with it all. my band members were really psyched with how well it sounds.

Overall

I just got one, and I F#%kin dig the $h1t out of it!

The sound i get with it is great! Its smooth to play and

looks cool, plus a friend gave me a deal on it.

Even though it was a steal, I would have paid a LOT more for it.

Sound

Ican tweek out just about any sound i want out of it.

Look

Not to flashy, cool though.

Feel

It could be better, but not by much.

Review by Jon

Overall

The sound of this thing is horrible. I cant believe how muddy the sound is. All this thing has is low end. no high end whatsoever. if you play anything other than metal or gospel this bass would dissapoint you

Sound

Absolute garbage! Where is the high end and the mids. no matter what i do all i can get is pure low end mud. no clarity. My g&l w basslines pickups sounds absolutely beautiful compared to this heavy metal piece of junk. Every note sounds dead like a heavy metal bass track. if your looking for matt freeman or flea like tone never ever even look at an ibanez! Seriously.

Look

it is a good looking bass. It would impress someone who likes to look at their bass instead of playing it.

Feel

although it sounds like a 12 year old made it in woodshop it is very very easy to play. All the fast basslines that i have trouble with on other basses are easier on this one.

Reliability

I've never had any problems with anything other than the junky sound.

Value

this thing is not worth the money. instead of paying 550 for this, i should have saved the money and put it toward a bass that sounded good.

Other Comments

the only reason these basses are sold is probably because some poor kids out there think they look cool and have never heard a quality bass
