Overall

It's a beautiful guitar overall, some say it looks like a surfboard while looking at it,I take that a s a compliment!!! Got it in a trade and have sold the rest of my basses, this just fits all my needs!!!

Sound

It does have the bottom end that one needs and that twang of the strings you need also. You just have to fiddle with the eq knobs and the selector knob to get "your" tone.Trust me it's there you just gotta find it.I play through a Markbass CMD121 w/a Peavey Tour 210 cab(500 watts total output)and this just sounds sweet as hell through this setup. All amp eq's are set flat and the natural sound of the bass comes through, set the filters on the amp and get a nice vintage or a growly modern sound out of it!!!

Look

What can I say,it's just beautiful....just find a pic of it and judge for yourself,I may be a little biased about the looks!!!

Feel

Just right for most,I have really long hands/finger so width of a neck is no concern for me but this is just right...thin neck but the strings are not too close at all...but I don't think it's good for slapping...I'm not good at it anyway so no biggie there!!!

Reliability

I got it on a trade for some other guitar work and it's in great shape for it being used, had to do a little work on the battery box(it was not making contact) nut it has been realiable since..

Value

I think these went for around $1200 brand new,I don't know what they are worth now but if you do find one buy it,especially if you're an Ibanez fan like me,you won't regret it!!!!

Overall

I bought this bass and I fell in love. I have sold other more expensive basses that I owned, because they didn't live up to the sound and versatility of this one. This is my all the time bass - for metal, rock, jazz, r&b and even rasta - I haven't found a style it doesn't do amazingly. This is by far still the best sounding bass I have ever played.
