Overall

Plays great, lightweight, gets just about any sound you'd ever need, and it was cheap! This bass is a total sleeper, never really made it, but try one and you'll see why I'm raving about it.

Sound

Just the versatility you get from incrementally sweeping between the pickups with the pan pot is really all this bass needs, but there's MORE lol...the on board EQ give you that extra notch to make up for whatever the room is doing to your sound. Roll between the classic fat Fender honk of the bridge pickup to the smooth low P-bass neck pickups, and mix at all points in between! The ONLY knock I have on this bass is that the pickup pan pot was wired backwards! Clockwise should give you the bridge pickup, but this one is backwards.

Look

It would be nicer with a pickguard and a beefier bridge, but that's really just nit picking. The metallic sea foam green color kinda looks like somebody's grandma's Toyota Camry, but the way this thing plays and sounds, I really don't care what color it is!

Feel

Faggeddaboudit! Nicest neck I've played next to a Tobias! This thing is just easy to play!

Reliability

Don't know yet, just got it....but the person I bought it from bought it new, played it a few times, and it sat in a closet for 15 years...I took it home and the battery was still good and it sounded bomb!

Value

Look what you get for the money with this bass....active electronics, quiet pickups, 3 band EQ, a pickup pan pot, a lightweight bass that won't kill you to play for 4 hours, a fast easy neck, and the Fender name! This bass is a total sleeper! Really glad I bought it!

Other Comments

This thing just became my #1 bass. Hands down.
