310 Acoustic Guitar
User Reviews Review by Darren Ward Overall I bought my L/H 310 about 3yr ago and it was love @ 1st strum,It's got a nice warm, crisp tone but it could give more depth to the Bass end! It's got great sustain but a good Gibson or Martin will overshadow her in the "volume" dept though! The wooden bridge pins add to the overall sound, and both the "action & intonation" are great. {just as well,as intonation can't be rectified in an acoustic can they??} Sound Warm, crisp mellow sound, ideal for both strumming, and or finger-picking solo, but she needs more sustain @ the Bass end. Look She's a beautiful guitar for us 'Gui'tarded lot who love gazing on our guitar's when were not playing them! Feel I've nothing bad to comment on the 310! Nicely balanced with a very smooth feel on the neck,I've rated her 3/5 though because i own a "Hummingbird & Epiphone" and have played Martin's & personally nothing match's my "Hummingbird" on the feel-ability scale!. Reliability I've yet to be let down with my 310,and other Taylor owner's all say likewise....very reliable keeping in tune after a hefty beating in a gig. Value You only get what you pay for! This guitar is certainly worth it's price tag! I paid 1000 Euro, down from 1600 Euro in a sale, and after 3+yr's I'd pay the 1600 for it today if i was shopping for a high end acoustic without re-mortgaging? Other Comments If your an experienced player & your shopping for a good guitar that will also be an investment in terms of re-sale value the "310" tick's a lot of the box's for me,a 15year player. |
