CC44S Mid-Depth Bowl Celebrity Deluxe Acoustic-Electric Guitar
User Reviews Review by Mr Turtle Overall My second guitar in 6 years, this guitar had me completely stumped the second I bought it. Great value for money, good mics, low-feedback. light weight. Excellent resonance, jazzy almost 12-string like. Tough on the fingers at first. Mediocre sound with light gauge strings is the only neg for this guitar. For a medium budget semi-acoustic guitar the sound is simply amazing. Sound Unique sound provided by the rosettes give this guitar a wonderful ring, almost sounding like a twelve sting guitar with near-perfect resonance. Only downside to this guitar is is sound horrible with light gauge or slinky strings. On the other hand, it provides an excellent jazzy tone with heavy strings, great rhythm-guitar and excellent balanced and clear tone. Look Love the sunburst and leaf design rosettes. Great proportions too. Feel Fingering can be a little tough at first. You need to press harder than on other guitars. However, once in hand you can do what you want with it. Light, fits perfectly on your lap or standing up. Frets are nicely spaced and cutaway provides excellent but not perfect access to higher frets. Neck is perfect for bar chords, slides and people with short fingers Reliability String tend to lose their if they are light (.09/.08) I recommend playing with .10+ on this guitar. Mics and electronics are incredibly reliable. The equalizer is simplistic but effective perfect for live-tweaking. The built-in tuner however lacks precision at best. Value Unbelievably valuable guitar for the money. I've used this guitar on professional recordings and I'm completely satisfied. This is definitely a good buy for intermediate-advanced and professional users. |
